Last presentation reflection

(1) Positive Statement

What are you most proud of in your block presentation and/or your senior project? Why?
Considering that the project required a mentor, I'm most proud of how much I learned from my mentorship itself. I'm happy that I received the help that I did.

(2) Questions to Consider

a.     What assessment would you give yourself on your block presentation?  Use the component contract to defend that assessment.
P: My information was pretty straight forward to understand from an audience point of view. I believe that activities were relatively similar to both my answer, communication and target audience.

b.     What assessment would you give yourself on your overall senior project? Use the component contract to defend that assessment.

P: I did what was asked of me and I even went to my mentorship on my own time regardless of this project. Its something, I've enjoyed since my freshman year.

(3) What worked for you in your senior project?

Everything worked for me in this project, I didn't come across any problem that could not be solved in more than five minutes.

(4) (What didn't work) If you had a time machine, what would you have done differently to improve your senior project?

Everything worked well for this project. The only slight problem was figuring out a good time for both my mentor and I because of his travels.

(5) Finding Value

How has the senior project been helpful to you in your future endeavors?   Be specific and use examples.

This senior project has helped me understand whether I really wanted to do this and If it's something I really like. It was a big realization for myself. While working with my mentor, he always made it clear that there is more to what job he just does for a living. There are so many different jobs in this industry that it's hard to specifically choose his job when I haven't even experienced the other jobs in this industry.

Exit Interview

(1) What is your essential question, and what are your answers?  What is your best answer and why?
-My essential question is "how can a graphic designer successfully market a marketing campaign?".My best answer is  Target Audience. Every employer that is a part of a business knows what audience to target and how they can do so. This allows for the business to make its most business from that specific pool that is targeted from the keyart artist. I know communication and finding that common ground is very important between the client, but  knowing what audience to target your product before hand is crucial. The communication between a keyartist and the client is the stage the ideas and art come from.
(2) What process did you take to arrive at this answer?
-I arrived to this answer by constantly working with mentor. He has worked on big and exclusive projects with well known company's. Since working with him, he could not stress that him as the keyart artist, knows what age group the project itself is for,
(3) What problems did you face?  How did you resolve them?
-I've come across problems such as getting stuck and not being able to move from the design that I worked on under my mentor. I came across this problem because I didn't ask questions and didn't read the style guide like every keyartist  should do thoroughly. This allowed me to learn hands on what my mentor was talking about. I also encountered a problem with meeting my mentor. He constantly is traveling for the projects he is given,
